If the pupil is taken ill at school parents are contacted in order for them to collect him/her if thought necessary.

If a pupil has an accident at school and a hospital visit is thought necessary, parents will be contacted at the first available opportunity. If it is impossible for a parent to make the journey a teacher or delegated member of staff will take the pupil to hospital.

Children will only be allowed to use the school telephone in an emergency
