Croeso i Ddosbarth Clychau'r Gog!

Mrs Beechey is our teacher this year in Clychau’r Gog, and Miss Turner and Miss Burne also help us. Miss Dyer will lead our PPA sessions once a fortnight. There are 29 happy and enthusiastic learners in the class who love studying new and exciting themes.

 

In our class, we love reading, practising our writing skills, completing numeracy work, discovering new digital skills as well as exciting scientific investigations.  Our theme for the Spring Term is 'Heroes through the Ages'.

 

Important:

 

• Our PE lessons will take place on Wednesdays and Thursdays. Children will need a PE bag containing a labelled kit. House colour t-shirt, black shorts or leggings and trainers. PE bags can then stay at school for the half term.
• Each child will read individually every week and books will be changed when children are confident and ready to move on. Reading books will ONLY be sent home in school reading bags, which can be purchased from Ruckleys, Holton Road. Reading bags are to be brought to school daily.
• Spelling and numeracy tasks will be set on Google Classroom every Friday
• The Dewis Difyr (Homework Takeaway) page will be sent home at the beginning of each half term in order to continue our learning at home. The first Dewis Difyr will be sent home after the Autumn half term (10th November).
