Welcome to the year 8 page!

This is an exciting year where you will be continuing with the enthusiasm and myriad opportunities that the school has to offer as well as having more of an opportunity to work independently. You will be studying the same wide range of subjects as last year and continuing under the pastoral care of your form tutor and your mentor from year 12. I, Mrs Morgan, will also be leading you through this year and supporting you.  This is the year in which you will be able to enjoy a foreign trip for the first time!  Would you like to go to Paris or the Asterix theme park to practise your French?  Or how about skiing on the Italian slopes?  You will also have the opportunity to adventure along the Gower coast with the Geography department.  Your commitment to sports teams is increasingly important as you hone your skills.  Additionally, our expectations are as high as ever as you partake in performances with the music and drama departments.  Our aim throughout the year is for you to become happy, healthy, ambitious pupils who take pride in their Welsh language and heritage.
